How much does Zoodles cost?

We believe that every child deserves access to a safe, educational online experience. That's why we've made the Zoodles browser 100% FREE.

For parents who'd like to participate more in their child's Zoodles experience, we offer a Premium Membership tier, which enables parents to block ads, block and promote content, and monitor their child's activity.

All parents who download the free Zoodles browser will also be given a free trial of Zoodles Premium Membership. Once the free trial expires, basic Zoodles members can still continue using the browser for free.

Safety

Is it safe for my child to use Zoodles?

Zoodles ensures your child's safety by only allowing them to visit web pages that have been pre-approved by our team of educational experts. This means that your child can only interact with the highly engaging and educational content selected by Zoodles and is blocked from visiting any other pages. If your child clicks on a link to another page, they will be brought safely back to their Playground to select another game.

Will my child be exposed to ads?

Here at Zoodles we strongly believe that advertising to kids is just not okay. Unfortunately not everyone out there agrees with us. So we developed the Zoodles ad blocker, a tool that effectively strips out ads targeted towards your child, making his or her experience safer and simpler than ever before. Getting Started

How do I install Zoodles?

Installing Zoodles is easy. Simply log in to your Zoodles account and then click the purple "Install Now” button in the upper right hand corner of the page. Visit this page to find additional detailed instructions on how to install Zoodles.

How do I launch Zoodles for my child to play?

To launch Zoodles, simply visit your desktop and look for the Zoodles icon. Anytime you or your child would like to launch the Zoodles browser, double click on this icon and Zoodles will open in a full- screen mode.

How do I close Zoodles when my child is done playing?

To close Zoodles, simply press the ESC key, or click the X icon in the upper right hand corner of the Zoodles browser. You will then have to type “QUIT” to exit the browser.

How do I get to the Zoodles Parent Dashboard?

To get to the Zoodles Parent Dashboard, visit www.Zoodles.com and click “Login” in the top righthand corner. After logging in with the appropriate information, you will be taken to the Zoodles Parent Dashboard where you can customize and control all your child's activities.

What types of computers does Zoodles work on?

Zoodles works on almost all types of computers, including Windows PCs (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7) and Macs. If you run into any problems, please email us at support@zoodles.com.

Where does Zoodles get its educational content from?

The internet has lots of great educational content for children, it’s often just hard to find.  Our educational experts have done the hard work – scouring the internet to find great content from both big and small sites, that is both educational in nature AND fun! We know that the only way to get kids to keep coming back for more is to make sure they are having a blast. We hope that you’ll agree that Zoodles delivers on this.

How do you decide what content is shown to children?

When you add a child to your account, you provide us with some basic information about your child's skills.  We use this information as a guide to ensure that your child’s Playground is filled with just the right content - age and skill level appropriate – so that they can immediately begin playing, exploring and learning all by themselves.

Can my child still access your content if he/she can't use a mouse?

Absolutely! Parent Play-Along mode is our way of letting parents play side by side with children who can't use a mouse on their own. By explaining written instructions or clicking where your child points, you have the chance to truly guide your child's Zoodles experience. In Parent Play-Along mode, we provide parents with the text titles of games and also give unrestricted access to Zoodles-approved games and websites, including advertisements and informational sections of sites that we normally block from children. This gives you greater flexibility as you play and learn with your child.
